The problem when I first got into crypto and mining crypto was that the resources were slim to none. I found myself joining a lot of Facebook groups in the early months. I wasn’t so much looking to engage but to keep in tune with the news. Oddly enough, the only time I mustered up the courage to post something in these mosh pits of shaming was to promote this site. I’m sure most saw it as spam which is understandable because are there really any reliable sources for crypto which is beginner friendly? I’m sure there are some but for people in the space there isn’t enough.

The biggest thing that kept me going through the dips, broken hardware, misinformation and swindles is just the raw interest for crypto. That is why I was able to convince some of my closest friends and family to involve themselves in my mining operation. My passion for computers and willingness to learn the crypto space is what sold them or the fact that I wouldn’t shut up about it.

The gentleman I purchased my first mining rig from I relied heavily on for support, because believe me, this was not for someone that lacks patience. Between power settings, configurations and overclocks for graphics cards I would say I restarted this thing about one hundred times the first day. I couldn’t believe how stressed out I was, but looking back it wasn’t just the money I had invested. That would alone would make anyone sick if they thought they bit off more than they could chew.

After some time I got much better at building mining rigs and was less worried when they broke. It was the cost of doing business. This, however, took me a full year of self-teaching and making a lot of mistakes that I can, hopefully, save my readers if they decide to dive into the crypto/mining space.

To wrap this up, crypto and crypto mining is not for the faint of heart. You need to do your own research and make your own educated decisions. I will do my best to give you the most resources in one space as I can and continue to share my stories with you.
